Position: Media Coordinator
Contract: Fixed Term Contract Until 31st December 2022
An exciting opportunity for a dynamic, varied role. Reporting to the Media Manager, the Media Coordinator will be responsible for the effective management, distribution and storage of all incoming archive and media. The Media Coordinator will act as the first point of contact for all media related issues, will actively improve and maintain Branded Content workflows, offer support to Production Teams and provide data backups and synchronization. A key aspect of Media Coordinator will be to support production as a DIT on international location shoots several times a year, helping set up, ingesting and logging rushes and supporting edits and deliveries of programmes and commercials.
This role offers the chance to gain great experience on world class productions, be involved in a large data migration project and contribute to new processes and ways of working using Cloud storage and Agile workflow methodologies.
The ideal candidate will have experience of: Production workflows, digital and cloud storage, file formats and codecs, file transfer. Using Avid in a production environment and an understanding of Avid Nexis and Interplay is essential. Experience with Premier Pro, IPD & EVS, digital archive and a knowledge Vizone, Iconik and involvement in setting up new workflows and systems would be of value. A genuine enthusiasm for problem solving/trouble shooting would be advantageous. The role requires a person that can multi-task, remain calm under pressure, and work well with the wider team whilst being self-sufficient and capable of working without supervision.
An interest in Golf, Tennis, Motorsport, Sailing, Equestrianism or The Arts (Classic Music & Opera in particular) is desirable.
