MAJOR LEAGUE SOCCER
Position: Assistant Producer (Highlights)
Contract: Fixed Term (Until Mid-Dec)
Reporting to the Producer, the Assistant Producer will assist the Producer in the production of the weekly Highlights Show, plus the creation of VT packages for the ‘enhanced coverage’ of two to four live matches per week.
The successful candidate will be required to research, script and edit produce openers and feature items for the live, as well as cut down full games with and without commentary for the Highlights Show. Other responsibilities include assisting the Producer in all editorial aspects of the programming; directing occasional single-camera shoots in the studio and on location and log and review archive and rushes and select suitable material for editing. The candidate will be required to work without close supervision and as part of a small team.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an Assistant Producer in television production; experience of logging rushes and selecting material for edits and of supervising edits for promos, short features and highlights. They will also be required to demonstrate creative flair, strong script-writing skills and attention detail. An interest in and a knowledge of Major League Soccer is advantageous.
PLEASE NOTE: Weekend work and unsocial hours is necessary. This position will be based in Stockley Park, Uxbridge.
