Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
 Co-ordinate and establish incoming and outgoing video and audio feeds from Fibre/ Satellite/Internet Protocol;
 Co-ordinate and establish incoming and outgoing audio and communication circuits;
 Quality control of content and appropriate reporting of issues;
 Recording of live programming;
 Co-ordinate playout of live feeds and pre-recorded programmes;
 You may also be required to carry out any other duties that are within the scope and purpose of the job.

Unusual Challenges or Circumstances e.g. shift(s)/ unsocial hours/ travel etc.
 Position is shift based, which includes weekends and public holidays, some flexibility occasionally expected;
 Working under pressure in a Live MCR environment, coordinating incoming and outgoing signals and dealing directly with IMG clients.

Person Specification
Knowledge and Experience
 Thorough understanding of broadcast specifications;
 Previous operational experience in an MCR environment;
 Good understanding of TV technical and production techniques;
 Experience of pushing feeds to streaming platforms and IP;
 Logical and efficient approach to solving problems;
 Understanding of encoding theory, computer systems and networking;
 Understanding of video server technology.
