Premier League Productions, part of IMG, has the privilege of providing thrilling TV coverage of Premier League football to over 1 billion fans around the globe, and we’re looking for a passionate and talented Senior Producer to help us make sure the Premier League remains the most watched and most loved football competition in the world.
As well as passion and talent, we’re looking for someone who is a proven people person, able to get the best out of everyone around them, someone who will embrace and build on a progressive culture at PLP while also understanding what it means to be responsible for broadcasting to millions of fans on behalf of the Premier League.
As the Senior Producer (along with other Producers) you will be responsible for taking editorial control of PLP’s Content Service flagship programme ‘Matchday Live’ – while also helping to oversee the running of the department with the other Senior Producers and the Head of Content Service.
You will also produce other programmes on the Content Service and your responsibilities will include preparing running orders, briefing the editorial team, liaising with talent and to “gallery produce” programmes; delivering live studio programmes on time and on budget; assisting in the definition of the editorial content and direction of the live programme and forward planning, ideas generation and the ability to think creatively.
You will line manage a number of Producers – as well as mentoring and developing the wider production team – so will need to have strong leadership skills and have experience in managing teams. Additionally, you should bring proven experience of working collaboratively and effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
You will have previous experience as a live ‘gallery’ producer with the ability to oversee a production team to ensure the successful delivery of programmes – according to the brief set by the Head of Content Service.
An understanding of programme budgets is a must and knowledge of compliance guidelines for broadcasting is essential.
You will have experience working with and managing on-screen talent and ensuring that they are fully prepped for each programme. A passion and love for football is a must as well as having a strong knowledge of the Premier League.

PLEASE NOTE: This position will be based at Stockley Park, Uxbridge. This role may require weekend /unsocial hours as well as travel, both domestically and (occasionally) internationally.
