Position: Health & Safety Administrator (Part Time)  

Contract: Permanent

Reporting to the Office Manager, the Health and Safety Administrator act as an interface between internal departments and productions, providing a high standard of timely and efficient admin support.  

Key Responsibilities will include assisting the Office Management team with fulfilling their departmental health and safety responsibilities; ensuring Fire Risk Assessments are conducted and recommendations actioned as well as managing building contractors and ensuring first aider/fire warden standards are met.

Additional responsibilities will also include record keeping, scheduling routine risk assessment reviews, and assessing contractor safety arrangements for maintenance work in the building; continually maintaining all relevant Risk Assessments are suitable and sufficient for Office Admin activities and responsibilities. This may include the premises’ Fire Risk Assessments (which are updated by external consultants as and when the building uses change; recruit Fire Wardens and First Aiders as required and ensure all training is up-to-date.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in a facilities department with a strong understanding and knowledge of office health & safety. Proven knowledge of UK Health & Safety regulatory requirements is essential as is  training and qualification in IOSH Managing Safety, British Council Award in Risk Assessment.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a part time role and will be based in Stockley Park, Uxbridge with occasional travel to our Chiswick Park office.
