We are a multi award-winning media company based in Angel, London producing television, radio and new media content on social issues, current affairs, religion, ethics, history and education. Our programmes are broadcast across all networks, both in the UK and internationally, with the aim to get people thinking and talking. Above all we are passionate believers in the power and importance of media to educate, challenge and inspire.


We are looking for a full-time, permanent Junior Production Manager to work with our television, radio and new media teams from 25 February 2019. The position is ideally suited to someone who has recently made the move from Senior Co-ordinator to JPM or feels they are more than ready to take on that role.


We are a small, but growing company, so you will need to be a confident, enthusiastic and outgoing person who is happy to be an all-round team player with a hands-on approach.


We are offering a competitive salary and 33 days holiday (including bank holidays).  Our normal working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:30 – 18:00 although occasionally you may be asked to work outside these times.


Key Skills:

  • A proven track record of managing multiple projects combined with a demonstrable ability to prioritise
  • Experience of managing budgets and cost managers (monitoring, planning, forecasting and reconciling), setting up shoots and managing schedules
  • A robust knowledge of all aspects of production from commissioning to delivery
  • Experience of negotiating deals with suppliers
  • An understanding of archive, stills, music and literary clearances
  • Experience of production insurance and contracts
  • An understanding of kit and the ability to keep across new technical developments in the industry
  • Experience of liaising with post-houses together with a good working knowledge of post-production techniques
  • A keen interest in the development and implementation of company organisational systems and procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail, an approachable manner and an ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Great organisational skills and an ability to work either alone or as part of a team
  • A flexible approach and a can do, positive attitude
  • A love of television, radio and online content (especially ours!)
