Production Assistant

Gunpowder & Sky are a brand-new studio making waves in youth programming across TV, Series and Feature Films.

Are you stuck in a job that isn’t creative and bursting with ideas for TV shows?

Passionate about how stories can change the world?

Willing to go above and beyond in the name of quality research?

If so, this could be the role for you!

We have an exciting opportunity to join us here at Gunpowder & Sky in an entry level role.

This would suit someone fresh out of uni, or at the very first rung of the ladder who is hungry for a chance to prove themselves.

We would like someone to participate in growing our company and help us to define who we are.

The role will see you working across a variety of areas in the company, so there is a big opportunity to experience how different departments work.

There is plenty of room for you to develop and hone your skills, so for a determined person with a can-do attitude, it could prove to be very rewarding.

No experience required for the right person, you just need to have a true passion for creativity.

Tasks include but not limited to:

Research tasks

The odd run

Assisting with general office admin

Participating in internal creative meetings

Generating ideas and building upon existing ideas

Writing and creating one page presentations

Assisting on shoots

Providing general office banter

Desirable, but by no means mandatory skills:

Photoshop

Basic editing skills

Ability to use Keynote / Powerpoint to create presentations and pitch decks

This role will likely begin with a freelance contract, then if it’s a good fit for both parties, moving into a full-time position.

Based Hackney

Please send your cv and a covering letter to uk.info@gunpowdersky.com and answer this question: Which show do you wish you came up with and why?
