Reporting to the Operations & Technical Manager and Executive Producer, the Live Production Trainees will support the general production team as well as to the graphics and live production team.

Working as part of a team of runners servicing the client areas, key responsibilities will include operating a graphics channel onsite; ensuring all communal areas of the TV compound are kept clean and tidy; reporting any faults with fixtures and furnishings to the Technical Coordinator; maintain an excellent working relationship with clients, freelance operators and staff; and answering phones and responding to clients’ requests promptly. In addition, the Live Production Trainees will assist the production management team in various onsite duties.

The Live Production Trainees will be required to be aware of, and comply with the company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have some experience of working in a media environment in a client-facing role, with an understanding of good customer service. Excellent organization and communication skills is essential, as is excellent client support skills. Previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines is essential. An interest in golf is desirable but not mandatory. Some experience in a Live Gallery or OB environment is an advantage but not necessary. Genuine interest and enthusiasm is a must!

PLEASE NOTE: This role will require extensive travel abroad with up to 30 events. Working over Bank Holidays and weekends will be required a lot of the time. When not travelling for events, this role will be based at Stockley Park, Uxbridge.
