The MCR Operator will work across IMG Studios providing support to IMG production and the distribution departments by co-ordinating and establishing incoming and outgoing video feeds from Fibre/ Satellite; as well as co-ordinating and establishing incoming and outgoing audio and communication circuits and the quality control of content and appropriate reporting of issues.

 

IMG Studios is a state of the art facility housing 4 HD broadcast television studios, 13 production galleries, 4 dubbing suites, 72 edit destinations, 5 radio studios, an award winning 3D Graphics & Visual Effects team, large data Centre, satellite farm, and a Master Control Room (MCR) which includes 5 transmission suites and monitors over 200 HD lines in & out of the building.

 

We’re looking for someone with ambition and an open mind, exceptional attention to detail and a positive, proactive outlook.  Experience in a technical role in either a Broadcast or MCR environment is preferable, but full training will be provided. You should, however, have a good understanding of TV technical and production techniques and a logical, efficient approach to solving problems.
