We also produce original and branded video content, and have launched several award-winning branded campaigns.


Digital Asset Assistants are key members of the Little Dot Studios team that ensure the accuracy and integrity of large volumes of data and video footage. The day to day role involves the management of large volumes of data from multiple sources both coming into and going out of the company alongside providing support to the Digital Asset Manager and ensuring that the multiple media teams at the company can operate without issue.





  • Compressing and uploading files to CMS and accurately tracking the process
  • Ripping and transcoding files from client-provided media
  • Looking after weekly deliveries of files from clients
  • Setting up daily recordings of live broadcasts
  • Ensuring data on storage servers is up to date, relevant and neatly organised
  • Handling deliveries from clients and tracking
  • Assisting in the scheduling of moving data from live to cloud storage
  • Ensure that all data is correctly labelled and in the correct location
  • Liaising with Operations Assistants in cases where media is incorrectly named or categorised
  • Liaising with clients to ensure issues relating to servers, FTP systems and file delivery systems are resolved promptly
  • Maintaining accurate records of data coming in and out



  • Knowledge of media archiving and digital asset management systems including file codecs and formats, file-based workflows and archiving.
  • Basic understanding of digital video/audio including compression codecs, file systems, file transfer applications
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Extensive working knowledge of transcoding many industry standard codecs
  • Working knowledge of industry standard packages including Aspera, Media Signiant, Adobe Premiere and Media Encoder
  • Quality Control
  • Proven problem solving abilities in a file driven workflow

  • Experience in a relevant QC or Data role
