MAJOR LEAGUE SOCCER

NEW POSTING

Position:            Media Coordinator

Contract:           Fixed Term (9 months)

Application:       Link for Freelance/External Applicants

Due to recent commissions for more MLS content, IMG are looking for a Media Coordinator to work across all MLS programming.  Reporting to the Producer, the successful candidate will be responsible for the general management of media across all MLS output and will be encouraged to assist the Producer and Assistant Producer with edits for both the Live and Highlights programming.

Main responsibilities will include the downloading of melt reels/ISO compilations plus pre- and post-match quotes, transcoding that material in preparation for the edit process, overseeing the delivery of content to EVS for play-out, managing the MLS Nearline and ISIS workspace and backing up material to hard drives where necessary. The Media Coordinator will also be responsible for managing FTP requests for uploads and downloads.

The MLS team is small so there is also the opportunity for the Media Coordinator to get involved in the production process both creatively and editorially. The successful candidate would be encouraged to immerse themselves in all things MLS and, in time, would get the opportunity to produce packages for the Live and Highlights output.

The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in football. A knowledge of media management technology and basic experience in editing on Avid and/or Premiere is desirable as is a good understanding of media formats, standards and players.

PLEASE NOTE: The working week is Sunday-Monday and Wednesday-Friday. Evening work may also be required. The role will be based at Stockley Park.

Applications close on Monday 28th March 2017.

IMG is an equal opportunities employer and encourages applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, or religion or belief.
