Technical Coordinator


Conscientious, highly organised and methodical coordinator required to work on Channel 4’s Grand Designs on a fixed term nine month contract. The position is based in Amersham, Buckinghamshire with occasional dates to be worked from our post facility in London.


Duties include running a complex and ever-evolving edit schedule, booking editors, scheduling viewings and raising contracts. Working closely with the editorial team to ensure that programmes are compliant with all release forms and copyright clearances properly secured. Completing post production paperwork via Silvermouse and providing general production support on an ongoing basis. The position will involve monitoring usage of the in house camera equipment (FS7s). This will include booking kit in and out as well as ensuring that all servicing and repairs are carried out in a timely and efficient manner. The candidate will also be expected to perform weekly media backups on our LTO media system, therefore some level of technical understanding will be advantageous.


The ideal candidate will be proactive, have a calm level head and be able to demonstrate sound problem solving skills and initiative whilst at the same time know when to ask for help. A love of Excel is essential and the position will begin in February/March 2017.
