The Entertainment & Arts Production team at Sky UK is seeking a Junior Production Coordinator to join them on a 12-month FTC. The successful applicant would be working alongside the production team and also the commissioning team to help produce content for Sky 1, Sky Arts and Sky Atlantic.


Key Responsibilities

As our Junior Production Coordinator within Entertainment & Arts, you’ll help with tasks such as –


·         Travel bookings for the Production team.

·         Silvermouse PASC approval – You’ll be trained for this role and will be responsible for ensuring post production paperwork for all Entertainment & Arts productions is complete and correct.

·         Ad hoc media requests / clip requests as requested – knowledge of FCP would be beneficial.

·         Edit Requests – For Execs (business presentations, showreels etc)

·         General office administration support

·         Ad hoc production support to PMs as and when required.

·         Assisting with large studio shows as and when required, under the direction of a Production Manager.

·         Admin support for our Head of Production as and when required

·         Coordinating awards submissions for various award bodies as and when required.

·         Working a long side Production Managers, ensuring all commissioned content is delivered to Sky in a timely manner with accompanying paperwork, and ensuring that all programmes are ready for transmission.

·         Be the ‘go to’ person for any enquires about your allocated productions.

·         Liaising externally with our independent production companies on a variety of queries. We’re after someone who is personable and presentable.



We are after someone who:


·         Has experience as a Production Assistant or Junior Production Coordinator on minimum of 2 shows

·         Has some studio experience and audience handling experience.

·         Has good interpersonal skills.

·         Is able to communicate with other departments around Sky confidently and effectively.

·         Has experience working in a high pressured and dynamic environment.

·         Is presentable, personable and able to communicate and liaise with external production companies as well as internal departments.



The position will be based at Sky’s HQ in Osterley but travel to other locations will be required.
